Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you request a demo, contact us or apply for a role. This may include your name, contact details, employer, job title, application history, professional profiles, answers and resume. We also receive basic technical and attribution data such as browser information, a canonical page address, campaign source, medium, campaign, content and term, and advertising campaign, ad, ad-group, ad-set or click identifiers (including Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft identifiers) supplied by an inbound link.
For job applications and demo requests, stored source and converting-page addresses contain only the page origin and path. Credentials, query strings and fragments are not stored in those URL fields; bounded campaign values are stored separately. Job applications retain the five standard UTM values (source, medium, campaign, content and term), while demo requests may also retain the advertising identifiers described above.
Please do not include sensitive information that is not reasonably necessary for your enquiry or application.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess and administer employment applications, operate and secure this website, maintain business records, understand campaign performance and meet legal obligations.
Employment decisions are made by authorised people. Pacificas does not use a computer program to make final decisions about whether an applicant progresses.
Marketing choices
We send promotional electronic messages only where we have the required consent or another lawful basis. Demo forms keep marketing consent separate from the enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe option in a message or by contacting us.
Storage and disclosure
Information is held in access-controlled systems and may be disclosed to JPC Group staff and service providers that support hosting, security, data storage, recruitment and communications. We do not sell personal information.
Some providers may process information in Australia, the United States or other countries where they operate. We take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and information involved before using providers.
Security and retention
We use technical and organisational safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including private storage for resumes and restricted staff access. No internet service can promise absolute security. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal requirements, dispute handling and legitimate record keeping, then delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing info@jpcgroup.com. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Cookies and website data
We use essential browser storage and cookies for security and staff authentication. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are added, we will update this notice and provide choices where required.
Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
